Nestled on the outskirts of Benidorm, Oakwood British School offers easy access from the motorway, however the surrounding area remains quiet and tranquil.

The school is surrounded by nature with a variety of trees surrounding the building.

Each class has direct access to the outside space allowing for outdoor learning to take place as part of daily lessons.

Within the school building there are 8 large, airy classrooms which provide natural light and overlook the playground.  All classes are equipped with new furniture, which is specially designed to allow for group and individual work, while providing comfort to the children.  Each class has its own whiteboard and projector for use within lessons and a bank of resources to help enhance children's learning.  All classes have their own library area and designated reading space.

The Playground

The school playground consists of an outdoor learning area and separate Primary playground area to ensure children can play safely and freely.  The outdoor learning area provides different spaces for children to explore and learn freely in their own time, including a climbing area, sand pit and playhouse.  The primary playground area has a grassed football pitch, basketball net, adventure play park, tree swings and space where children can freely play and explore with the outside equipment provided.  The trees surrounding the playground provide shade all year round and a calming setting.
